A generous amount of KONG's premium North American catnip in a reclosable vial is included in the toy. When the catnip scent begins to fade, for another round of fun, simply add more fresh catnip! In order to help keep it fresh, catnip can be kept in the freezer. With the catnip removed, the toy is machine-washable.
